Agreement with Padre Rubinos to boost social action programs in La Coruna

Thanks to this agreement, Humana continues to advance in its Social Action Programs aimed at reversing part of the proceeds from the collection of used clothing and shoes to their employees, which in turn funneled this aid to families with level needs basic clothing. 

By signing the agreement, the Foundation opened another line of action in the context of social action, supporting organizations with long experience in this field. Through this agreement, the Foundation contribute to the valuable work done Padre Rubinos since 1918.

The agreement includes the donation of 6,000 euros to the Welfare Institution, which will be used to purchase food for the shelter managed by Padre Rubinos. Until 2011, this shelter had served more than 5,200 'homeless', that is, all those people who can not access and / or retain suitable accommodation, adapted to your personal situation, that provides permanent and stable framework cohabitation, whether for economic or other social barriers.

The Foundation and Padre Rubinos have conducted a press conference today at the headquarters of the institution, to report on the agreement. The press conference has been carried out by David Vazquez, Humana Manager Central Office Collection, and Eduardo Aceña, President of Padre Rubinos.

Within its Social Action Programme, Humana has Bonds Help annually benefits thousands of citizens who can buy clothes in the store network of the foundation of a free mode. The organization also develops a Social Farming Program, including technical and financial support to organizations specializing in this field.
