The second-hand fashion offering in Granada is growing with a new specialised shop: we are opening a second-hand fashion shop on the central Calle Alhóndiga. It is our second point of sale in the city.
he new store is located at Calle Alhóndiga 35, very close to the Cathedral. It has 150 m2 of retail space and offers 4,400 items: fashion and accessories for men, women and children, as well as home textiles. This store specialises in vintage clothing.
For 26 years, we have had another point of sale in the city, located at 20 Constitución Street. It has been operational since 2000 and last year had more than 37,000 customers.
Humana closed 2025 with 57 establishments (29 in Madrid, 25 in Barcelona, two in Seville and one in Granada) and is starting the year with an expansion plan that is being launched in the city of Granada. With this opening, we now have four shops in Andalusia and 58 in Spain.
The evolution in 10 years
The evolution of the number of Humana second-hand fashion stores over the last 10 years has been remarkable: in 2015, we had 36 stores in Spain and 1.2 million customers. A decade later, we ended the year with 57 stores and triple the number of people who are committed to reused fashion.
The funds generated by the network of shops enables the development of cooperation projects in countries in the Global South and social initiatives in Spain. In addition, we create one permanent full-time job for every 25 tonnes of textiles collected.
This process also has an environmental benefit: the reuse of clothing contributes to the reduction of polluting emissions, since for every kilogram of clothing recovered that does not end up in a landfill, the emission of 6.1 kg of CO2 is avoided.
