Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo has been promoting since 1987 the protection of the environment through the reuse of textiles and carries out international cooperation programs for development in Africa, Latin America and Asia and local support, awareness and urban agriculture in Spain.

After 36 years of activity, Humana has established itself as a relevant actor in the social economy, promoter of the circular economy and generator of green employment.

Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo promotes since 1987 environmental protection  and has carried out cooperation projects in various countries in sub-Saharan Africa, South America, and Asia. The projects' common goals are to promote training, education, and the development of the beneficiary communities. 

Through textile reusing, we support our projects and protect the environment.

Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo  is registered in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports with number 08-0347.

Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo is part of The Federation for Associations connected to the International Humana People to People Movement.

In 2023, working in 46 countries across five continents, members of the Federation Humana People to People have implemented more than 1,584 development projects in the areas of Community Development, Sustainable Agriculture and Environment, Health, and Education, reaching more than 17.9 million people in Africa, Asia, and Central and South America.

We are also a member of Asociación Española de FundacionesFederación Española de la Recuperación y el Reciclaje and the Coordinator of Foundations in Catalonia.

The foundation also has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, EMAS Certificate and SGS NGo Benchamking. It is part of European Union Transparency Register.

Humana People to People is a network of 29 non-profit associations engaged in international solidarity, co-operation, and development. Growing out of a progressive education movement in the 1970s, Humana People to People is committed to tackling some of the world’s major humanitarian, social and environmental challenges.

The Federation for Associations connected to the International Humana People to People Movement was formally established in 1996. Its goal is to achieve increased positive impact on global development through strengthening co-operation among members.

The 30 independent member associations are located across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America. They share a set of common values to protect the planet, build communities and support people to join forces, unleashing their potential for positive change and action.

The activities of Humana People to People are aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda. Together with the people in the communities where we work and our numerous partners, we continue to stand by countries as they strive to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, creating lasting positive change in the process.
