JOIN OUR INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM!

We are convinced that the presence and active participation of international volunteers in these projects contributes significantly to our mission of combating inequalities.

For this reason, Humana promotes a 10-month International Volunteer Program that includes a training stage in Denmark, followed by participation in one of Humana projects on the ground and ending with a month dedicated to reflection and awareness of the project, again. in Europe.

The International Volunteer Program is based on two concepts: Sustainable Development and International Solidarity.

The program is an opportunity to learn about the big issues of our time – and to do something about them in practical terms.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • 3 months. Training on cooperation and development at the Lindersvold school, Denmark.
  • 6 months. Volunteer in a Humana project in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia or India.
  • 1 month. Reflection and awareness in Europe.

We have a Grant Plan that helps cover the costs of the program. However, it is essential that you meet certain criteria, including an intermediate level of English, demonstrating values such as adaptation and commitment, and being available to participate full-time for 10 months.

WHAT WILL THE PROGRAM GIVE YOU?

  • You will gain a broader perspective on global challenges and contribute to building a more just and sustainable world.
  • It will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, expanding your understanding of the world and fostering values such as empathy and understanding.
  • You will be able to experience community life by establishing strong relationships and encouraging the development of social skills such as communication and conflict resolution.

We have four editions every year, starting in:

  • January
  • April
  • August
  • October
