Activities scope

The training of primary teachers in the School of Teacher Education Nhamatanda aims to train future elementary teachers to exercise their teaching in rural areas of the country recruited by the Ministry of Education Mozambique.

The school has been supported during the past five years by dozens of Spanish cities in various regions to improve their facilities, their capacity to manage and train hundreds of new teachers already working in rural areas of Sofala province and surrounding areas. 

Moreover, future teachers are actively involved in various micro-development projects in communities where they conduct their practice period as primary teachers, so that both boys and girls from such schools as the set of communities where micro-projects are implemented continuing benefit of the program.
