Balearic Islands joins the network of Humana recycling and cooperation

Humana has installed its first 60 containers of clothing and footwear worn on the island of Mallorca, in the towns of Alcudia, Algaida Binissalem, Calvia, Felanitx, Inca, Llubí, Llucmajor, Manacor, Marratxí, Wall, Palma and Santa Margalida Porreres , respectively.

The initiative will provide the residents of these municipalities a simple and secure way to donate clothing and shoes for a weekend of solidarity, backed by professional service already performed in over 800 municipalities throughout Spain.
Of these 60 containers, 23 have been placed under the collaboration agreements signed with municipalities Ilmos Marratxí (13 containers), Santa Margalida (5), Porreres (2), Algaida (2) and Llubí (1). The rest come from agreements with private entities which include the Hospital Son Espases in Palma, the BP service station in Can Pastilla Palma, Col • legi the Son Veri Nou Llucmajor, the Olivera Magaluf Calvia mall or supermarket Spar El Toro in Calvia, among others.

Containers will be installed soon Alquería White Búger, Bunyola, Capdepera, Lloseta, Ses Salines and Valldemossa.
