Fundación ADRA and Bona Voluntat en Acció have collaborated in this 3.000 euro initiative.

More than 250 people have benefited from the "Support to impoverished families through joint actions with other Catalan social services" project, launched by Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo in cooperation with the ADRA Foundation and Bona Voluntat en Acció.

Both entities have distributed a total of 100 vouchers (valued at 30 euros each) that are good for use in any of the Humana stores. These vouchers were made possible thanks to 3,000 € that were granted by Caixa Manresa - CatalunyaCaixa. ADRA, BonaVoluntat en Acció, and the people who  benefited from the project welcomed its launch and requested that it be repeated in the future and become a permanent initiative. The beneficiaries of the program are many families who, thanks to the vouchers, had the opportunity to buy clothes for their children.

Fundación ADRA is a humanitarian organization belonging to an international network of agencies operating in more than 140 countries and linked to the Adventist Church. Bona Voluntat en Acció is a social organization operating in the "Fourth World": socially excluded people living in developed countries.

Vouchers Help

This initiative is part of Humana's social action program called Vouchers Help, a clothing donation service available to Humana's collaborating entities. This program's goal is to ensure that some of the proceeds generated through the collection of used clothing are directed to the individuals with the greatest needs. Between 2008 and 2010, Humana delivered more than 600 vouchers to various entities collaborating in the framework of this program.
