The 080 Reborn Fashion Show Champions The Value Of Second-Hand Clothing

For the fifth year running, 080 Reborn is championing the value of second-hand clothing. Humana has been collaborating on this initiative – which promotes reuse and circular fashion – since its very first edition, working primarily alongside the stylists Fermin+Gilles. This fashion show originated within the 080 Barcelona Fashion platform, which takes place from 20 to 23 October at Barcelona’s Port Vell.
080 Reborn is a pioneering project in circular fashion driven by 080 Barcelona Fashion, Girbau LAB and the Catalan Waste Agency, with creative direction by Fermin+Gilles (Fermín Serret and Gilles Saint Martin).
080 Reborn is one of the most unique initiatives of 080 Barcelona Fashion. Over the past five years, designers have presented collections created from garments sourced from second-hand shops, social organisations, vintage markets and textile reuse networks.
Humana second-hand shops
Humana has been involved since the first edition of 080 Reborn in 2022. Since then, the designers Fermin+Gilles have presented collections created, in part, using garments selected from our second-hand shops: vintage items of various types and styles, ranging from lighter pieces such as blouses and shirts to coats.
Humana’s collaboration with the world of fashion and design has been ongoing ever since the second-hand sector began to attract growing interest from designers, major brands, specialist events and, above all, the general public. Over the last five years, Humana has taken to these catwalks:

Furthermore, the Humana brand has been present at several showrooms at the aforementioned fashion shows. We have also collaborated on other, smaller-scale projects, supporting fashion and design schools, as well as young designers who share our values of sustainability and see upcycling as a field in which to give free rein to their creativity.
