Building a latrine and a traditional well rehabilitation has allowed various tabancas rural families in the region of Oio increase water supply and improve sanitary conditions are essential to prevent many diseases like diarrhea, cholera and malaria. 

The construction was carried out by beneficiary families themselves, which has led to greater ownership and responsibility for maintenance, which, combined with awareness campaigns carried out by the project team, led to the adoption of health and hygiene habits healthier, resulting in the improvement of their living conditions, especially for the little ones.
