Clothes for people of CIE Aluche-Madrid

Humana has provided clothing for the inmates of the Aluche Internment Center (CIE) in Aluche-Madrid with the aim of supporting people with fewer resources. So far she has made three donations of garments for men and women. "Most come from innings by patera and come with the post," explain from the CIE of Aluche.

The origin of this collaboration dates back to months, when Humana decided to act as a result of information disseminated by the Cadena SER channel radio , which referred to the CIE inmates were suffering the rigors of winter due to the lack of clothing of coat. After contacting the center, the Foundation made a donation in two consignments of approximately 300 kilograms of textile selected by the equipment of the sorting center of Leganés. These are clothes that the citizens had previously deposited and in solidarity in the containers of Humana.

Recently, from the CIE they have gone back to the organization to request a new donation of garments. The Foundation has agreed immediately, convinced that it is a useful measure to alleviate the terrible situation that these people suffer.

The social purpose of the clothes used is precisely this: to help those who have less. Humana acts when an emergency situation occurs outside our borders and of course also meets requirements such as the CIE de Aluche.

The human drama of refugees and displaced people has overwhelmed European and national administrations, which continue to be ineffective and inefficient today. Sometimes it is not a matter of resources and budgets, but of will and determination. Therefore, that civil society acts, as the Foundation in this case, has enormous value. In addition, with your support we will continue doing it in emergency situations like this. It is the most human side of the textile used.
