MULTISECTORAL, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL ECONOMY

The reality of the Southern communities in which the Foundation works requires wide-ranging initiatives that act simultaneously on education, agriculture, sanitary conditions or human rights; always in favor of its sustainable development and its empowerment

To achieve these objectives it is necessary that the force that moves these projects comes from these same groups, formed by people who are essential to achieve the success of the programs.

The cooperation programs for development that we implement are carried out in the areas of:

  • Education
  • Agriculture and Rural Development
  • Community Development
  • Renewable energy and energetic efficiency
  • Health
  • Assistance and Emergency
  • Assistance and Technical Support

Each year the Foundation develops projects both with its own funds and with funds from grants and public and private donations in more than a dozen countries. These projects involve more than 100,000 people annually and are carried out within the framework of the SDG Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

In 2020, Humana implemented cooperation projects in the following countries, involving about 125,000 people:

  • China
  • Ecuador
  • Laos
  • Malawi
  • Mozambique
  • Namibia
  • Senegal
  • Zambia
