Community development

The use of clean, cheap and sustainable rural development ensures present and future of rural communities. Thus, in late 2010 the European Union approved the funding of this project, based on the training of 90 young people in the fields of solar energy, electricity and water use. The objective is to facilitate the incorporation of these youth to the labor market and, second, encourage applying the acquired knowledge for development of their communities.

The support of the European Union and contributed equity has enabled today that three new disciplines are fully integrated into the curriculum of the Vocational School of Bissora and therefore available for young people wishing to study and pursue a career it.

2012-2014 Total Cost of the Project: € 192,000
